Sailortown

Take your guests for an atmospheric stroll through a recreation of one of the most popular “Sailortowns” of the 1840s. Narrow streets and alleyways are lined with pubs, shops and services typical of the riverside district.

The reception can then continue, or guests can be seated for dinner, in City and River, home to an 1807 model of the Lord Mayor's state barge and the livery of that era. Together these spaces provide an original and highly memorable location for your event.

Sailortown, City and River is one of our most popular event spaces and is located on the second floor of the museum.
