The Common Room provides a unique backdrop to large events holding up to 280 theatre style; or up to 180 guests for dinner. It combines the 19th Century decor of mahogany panelling which is offset by beautiful stained-glass windows. The Common Room benefits from a built-in PA system, screen and staging. It is the perfect all purpose event space.

STRAND, FLEET & BELL SUITE

Strand, Fleet and Bell Suite comprises of three light and airy meeting rooms that open into one large conference area for up to 120 guests theatre style; or works equally as well set up as individual rooms used for smaller meetings, breakout space or catering areas. The Suite's close proximity to the Common Room means that it works exceptionally well with duel hire.

The impressive Reading Room features a 12m high glass ceiling with classic blue and cream colour scheme. Located on the ground floor this room is perfect for either canapé receptions up to 210 guests, or seminars for 150 guests.
The Reading Room is also licensed for civil ceremonies; the sweeping staircases in the main entrance provide an ideal photograph back drop.

The Old Council Chamber and Dining Room comes with its own ante-room, bar and registration area, creating the perfect meeting space for up 65 delegates theatre style. Here we can also seat 60 guests for dinner, with your own private reception area in the adjoining Dining Room.

The recently re-furbished Six Clerks Room is situated on the ground floor, and perfect for smaller events or breakout space. Holding up to 35 people theatre style or 22 boardroom style and complimented by a catering space at the rear.

The Old Book Shop, which formerly was The Law Society's own Book Shop is now an ideal unique meeting space. Similar to the Six Clerks Room, the Old Book Shop is perfect for smaller meetings, intimate dinners and breakout sessions.

The Six Clerks Restaurant & Bar (open to the public) combines a traditional 19th century space with modern furnishings and colours to stunning effect. The calm and relaxing surroundings are perfect for business or pleasure. Our resident chef, sources predominately British produce for a delectable seasonal menu with fortnightly specials, complemented by an extensive wine list.
